What this measures
Common Crawl is a nonprofit that crawls the web monthly and publishes the index for free. A domain with many crawled pages is being found, linked to and rendered. That presence is a real input to how search engines and AI systems see a domain, and unlike proprietary authority scores it is fully auditable.
What it does not measure
This is not Moz DA and does not pretend to be. It counts crawl presence. For a link-graph authority score we would need to shard the Common Crawl webgraph, which is a much larger build.
